Functions in Transformation

The most affected positions are not those requiring advanced technical skills, but those involving repetitive information processing tasks: tier-1 technical support, manual QA based on fixed scripts, standardized report generation, and coding simple functions from detailed specifications. In all these areas, AI agents have significantly increased individual productivity, reducing the need for headcount for the same workloads.

In contrast, the positions with the greatest demand growth are those combining technical skills with orchestration and critical evaluation capabilities: prompt engineers, AI agent systems architects, model evaluation and auditing specialists, and professionals who know how to integrate AI tools into specific business workflows.

Career development specialists converge on several recommendations: invest in understanding how AI tools work internally, even without being a researcher; develop the ability to define problems with enough clarity to delegate to automated systems; and cultivate communication and expectation management skills, increasingly valued in roles that interface between AI and business stakeholders.
